Our Vision Statement To be a welcoming community exploring freely and acting responsibly.
Our Mission Statement
"The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fredericksburg fosters a
welcoming and intentionally diverse community of those who seek
philosophical, spiritual, intellectual or religious growth in a forum
of mutual respect.
Affirming the principles of the Unitarian Universalist Association,
we value social justice, respect the interdependence of all life and
are united by a desire to make ethical decisions on issues of mutual
concern.

We are glad you're visiting our website today. We invite you to learn more about Unitarian Universalism and this Fellowship. We offer an open-minded and supportive community in which you are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas, and join us in our search for truth and spiritual understanding.
The Reverend Jeff Jones conducts the Fellowship's service three Sundays a month, and is available for consultation during the week.Other Sunday programs include guest ministers and speakers on a variety of issues, designed to accommodate the diverse opinions and needs of our members.
Throughout the year, we sponsor special events, activities and programs designed to appeal to a broad range of interests. Adult religious education classes, discussion groups, musical presentations, holiday parties, and potluck suppers and picnics are some of the ways in which we come together as a community to learn, share and grow. And speaking of growth, we are buying a site next to the National Park at Chatham and are beginning a Building Campaign for funds to put a building on it. We welcome you to join us in this next huge step in our growth and history!
Our Fellowship is committed to the democratic process, and responsibility for church decisions rests with the voting members. An elected Executive Board and a number of standing committees comprise the governing body of the congregation.
We are an honor society of the Unitarian Universalist Association
and are members of the Thomas Jefferson District of the UUA,
as well as the Interfaith Council, the Food Bank, and the
Church Shelter Board in Fredericksburg.
On May 16th, 2004, The congregation unanimously passed the
resolution to become a Welcoming Congregation, which "affirms
and declares that [the UUFF] actively welcomes gay, lesbian,
bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) persons as full participants
in the life of the Fellowship."
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fredericksburg officially
recognized by the UUA as a a Welcoming Congregation on June 8th, 2004.
